In December 2006, the European Union adopted a new regulatory framework concerning the Registration, Evaluation and\u00a0Authorisation of Chemicals (REACH).\u00a0 The new law entered into force on June 1st, 2007.<\/p>\n

The aim of REACH is to improve the protection of human health and the environment through better and earlier identification of the intrinsic properties of chemical substances. Under Article 33 of REACH regulations, suppliers are required to provide to customers information on any products exceeding 0.1% w\/w of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) as specified in European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) publications from time to time.<\/p>\n

All products supplied by Holders Technology UK comply with the REACH requirements for SVHC published by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) on 7 July 2017.\u00a0 The actual list can be viewed on the ECHA website under\u00a0https:\/\/echa.europa.eu\/candidate-list-table<\/a><\/p>\n

In accordance with REACH regulations, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are available to enable safe use of products which exceed 0.1% w\/w of any SVHC. These are available for the solder masks and inks for the “identified use” as Printed Circuit Board coatings. Material Safety Datasheets (MSDS) are also available for all other products such as laminates, drill materials, lamination conformal sheets, release films where they do not exceed 0.1% w\/w of any SVHC.<\/p>\n
