Drills and Routers

Tungsten carbide drills and routers for PTH and multilayer PCBs. Industry standard 3,175mm shank diameter and overall length 38.2mm.

Solid tungsten carbide high performance chip breaker routers.

  • 0.50 – 3.175 mm.
  • optimised geometry and tungsten carbide results in longer tool life and high quality surface finish, even at higher feed rate
  • CMD style with drill point is available on request

Solid tungsten carbide diamond-pattern routers, larger chip volume suited to higher feed rates.

  • 1.0 – 2.4 mm
  • right hand primary flutes (up-cut)
  • DCF fishtail type end cut preferred for peripheral contour routing

Solid tungsten carbide diamond-pattern routers, medium chip volume.

  • 0.80 – 3.175 mm
  • right hand primary flutes (up-cut)
  • DMF fishtail type end cut preferred for peripheral contour routing
  • DMD style with drill point is available on request

Solid tungsten carbide countersink router 6.5mm diameter 75º to 140º point angle.

Options include 30-90 degree groove angles.

Solid tungsten carbide single flute routers.

  • 0,80 – 3,175 mm
  • special geometry designed for routing soft materials like Teflon, flexible boards etc.

Tungsten carbide slot drills.

  • 0,50 – 2,10 mm, 30° helix angle
  • slot drills are designed especially for machining of slots

Tungsten carbide drills.

  • 38° helix angle
  • 0,10 – 0,45 mm diameter, 38.2mm overall length, 3.175mm shank diameter

Tungsten carbide drills.

  • designed for flex and flex-rigid PCB drilling
  • 40° helix angle
  • 0,25, 0,30, 0,35 mm diameter
  • 4,5, 5,5mm, 5,5mm flute length
  • 38.2mm overall length, 3.175mm shank diameter

Solid tungsten carbide drills.

  • 3,20 – 6,50 mm, 30° helix angle, 165° point angle
  • for large diameter and tooling holes

Tungsten carbide drills.

  • 32° helix angle
  • 0,50 – 3,175 mm diameter, 38.2mm overall length, 3.175mm shank diameter
  • for application in special DS (double sided) through high-level mutilayer boards with FR4 or high Tg resin

These tools are best suited to the machining of soft materials – flexible boards, aluminium, plastic etc.
